Generations Bank announces the promotion of Max Harrell as Market President over the Rogers area. Max will oversee operations, growth of lending and deposit relationships, and community involvement for the Rogers market. Max is the sixth generation Harrell family member to work for the bank. “We are excited to see Max take on this leadership role within our Rogers team,” said Joe Ruddell, President of Generations Bank. “Max has done a great job building relationships within the Rogers community while working as a Commercial Lender.”

Max is the son of Generations Bank CEO and Chairman Jon Harrell. Max began working for the bank part-time in 2014 as a teller, then moving to loan intern and credit analyst roles before starting his full-time position as a commercial lender in 2018.

Max is a 2018 graduate of the University of Arkansas, obtaining his bachelor’s degree in Finance and Banking. While attending the university, he was a Walton College Finance Association member and recognized as a Graduating Student Leader. Max recently participated at the Walton College Inaugural Cohort of Leadership Circle for Banking and Finance professionals in 2020. The program focused on working with industry leaders to build skills, experiences, and connections that create a lasting impact on their profession.
